Autism Tests
Self-discovery often begins with curiosity. The screening tools below are designed to help you explore whether your experiences may align with autism or other forms of neurodivergence. While these are not diagnostic tools, they can be a helpful first step in understanding yourself more deeply.
If your results resonate, or if you’ve spent a lifetime wondering why certain things feel harder than they seem for others, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out alone, either. At Awaken Therapy Center, we specialize in neurodiversity-affirming care and offer formal autism assessments that take into account factors like masking, ADHD, trauma, alexithymia, and burnout.
These screeners are free, private, and intended to support your journey — whether you’re just starting to ask questions or ready to take the next step.
Camoflaging Autistic Traits
The CAT-Q measures how often a person masks or hides autistic traits in social settings. It’s especially relevant for those who have learned to “blend in” but still struggle internally.
Ritvo Autism Asperger Diagnostic Scale -Revised
The RAADS-R is a diagnostic screening tool designed to identify autism traits in adults, particularly those who may have been missed in childhood. It covers areas like social interaction, sensory sensitivity, and emotional expression.
Autism Spectrum Quotient
The AQ is a brief self-assessment that measures autistic traits in adults across areas like attention to detail, communication, and social preferences. It’s often used as an initial screening to explore where someone falls on the spectrum.
