RAADS-R: Ritvo Autism Asperger Diagnostic Scale–Revised
The RAADS-R is a self-report questionnaire designed to measure autistic traits in adults. It looks at areas such as social relatedness, sensory-motor experiences, circumscribed interests, and language.
The RAADS-R can be useful as a screening and self-reflection tool, especially for adults who may have spent years masking or compensating for autistic traits. It is not a diagnosis and should be interpreted alongside a broader clinical evaluation.
Understanding Your RAADS-R ScoreHigher RAADS-R scores generally reflect a greater number or intensity of autistic traits. However, scores should not be used on their own to determine whether someone is autistic. Factors such as masking, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and other neurodevelopmental or mental health experiences can affect how someone responds.
